- Provide immediate funding resources for city, town, and
emergency managers in areas affected by natural disasters. This funding
will enable these communities and their leaders to deal with the tasks
at hand.
- Champion—without government intervention—projects
intended to lessen the effects of recurring disasters. Our focus is
to understand the challenges of each situation, to provide the resources
necessary improve the lives of those affected, and to continue our
support long after the event has taken place.
- Collaborate with engineers and planners to provide the
resources that enable them to rebuild smarter and faster. Each One
for US All will be a funding resource to offset unexpected additional
costs, allowing local governments to stay on track with planned spending.
We will also create materials to educate affected citizens based on
our findings.
- Monitor ongoing events within our country in an effort
to mobilize our resources effectively. This will include gathering
information about those communities experiencing reoccurrences (with
or without solutions in place) and providing funding for solutions
or further research.
- Develop knowledge from past experiences, and create educational
tools to help prepare for future events. Our researchers, field managers,
and marketing personnel will work together to understand the challenges
at hand; their interaction will create the knowledge base needed to
provide a library of solutions, and to leverage resources to put those
solutions in place.
